And we orderedid it off the intraw3bz. I remember when I first started surfin’ Mrs Myron got concerned when she found out I ordered a bunch of movies from 800.com. Anybody bemeber them? Anyway, she did fret for a while but when only the movies I ordered showed up on the credit card statement she decided maybe it was OK. And then I started online banking a couple of years ago. That kinda worried her. But this piece, I was just goofing around to see if I could find an armoire this hughmongous and when I did I got her to look at it. I told her it was online only and I didn’t know if we could find one in Houston or not. She took one look and said “order it”. I told her I didn’t know anything about the vendor and she said “order it”. I told her I would check with the BBB online site and she said “order it”. And this damn thing cost more than our first new car, a 1962 4 door Mercury Comet. And she didn’t bat an eye. She just said “order it”. And I did. And it should be here in a couple of weeks. Here’re some photos from the vendors web site. Our TV is 58 inches wide. This thing is 59 3/4 between the walls. Really, it’s one big sumbich.

And even the top of the damn thing is finished. You know, in case you can see it coming down the stairs. Aint that some hoity toity shit.

And check the dovetail joints. Not to slouchy, huh?

Glad my kids aren’t anticipating a big inheritance LOL

Well, I think televisions are pretty unattractive, and that armoire will be a rather grand concealment for your big boy. It looks beautifully made. Well done, you two!

I agree. There’s not much uglier than a TV. More specially when it’s turned off. Now we can just close the doors and folks will think we’re storing clothes or sumpin in the family room.

Beautiful. Stately. We don’t even have doors that can let something like this in. Now, where are you storing all the movies?

Meg – we got a spinning tower that holds 1040 CDs or 500 DVDs. I think we have it covered.
